Spinal Nerve
Spinal nerves are a pair of nerves that extend from the spinal cord, traveling outward through the vertebrae to various structures in the body. They are important for transmitting sensory information, such as pain, temperature, and proprioception, as well as motor signals from the brain to the muscles and organs. Spinal nerves also play a role in the autonomic nervous system, which controls involuntary functions such as digestion, heart rate, and breathing. Damage to the spinal nerves can result in paralysis, loss of sensation, and motor deficits. Treatment of spinal nerve damage includes physical therapy, medications, and surgery.
