Neuropathology
Neuropathology is a branch of pathology which focuses on diseases in the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. It is an important tool for understanding and diagnosing neurological disorders and diseases. Neuropathologists use a variety of scientific techniques, such as immunohistochemistry and electron microscopy, to study the microscopic structure of nerve tissue in order to identify any abnormalities. Neuropathological findings can aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of neurological disorders. In addition to diagnosing diseases and abnormalities, neuropathology can be used to track the progression of a disorder in order to determine the effectiveness of treatment.
