Cognitive Neuroscience
Cognitive Neuroscience is an interdisciplinary field that investigates how the brain processes and generates mental behavior, thought, and emotion. It examines the biological bases of cognition, understanding, remembering, problem solving, and decision making, among other processes. Cognitive Neuroscience brings together psychology, neuroscience, artificial intelligence, linguistics, and philosophy to study brain-behavior relationships. This field of research has been used to develop new methods for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental disorders, improve artificial intelligence, and to understand how information is stored and processed in the human brain.
