Renal Ischemia
Renal ischemia is the insufficient blood flow to the kidney, which can be caused by a blockage in the renal artery or decreased cardiac output. This condition is associated with increased risk of kidney damage, which can lead to kidney failure, and can have serious implications for the patient’s overall health. Treatments for renal ischemia include medications to open or improve blood flow in the renal artery, fluid resuscitation, and surgical revascularization. Early diagnosis and treatment of renal ischemia is essential in order to prevent damage to the kidney and other organs, and to ensure the best outcome for the patient.
