Adrenal Tumors
Adrenal tumors are abnormal growths in the adrenal glands, which are two small glands located on top of the kidneys. These tumors can be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). Symptoms can include abdominal pain, fatigue, weight loss and changes in hormone levels. Treatment depends on the type and size of the tumor and can range from surgery to radiation to hormone therapy. Management and monitoring is important to ensure that any changes that occur in the tumor are detected early. As such, adrenal tumors can have a significant impact on a person's well-being, and seeking early medical attention is paramount for successful treatment.
