Tumors

Tumors are abnormal masses of cells that can occur in any part of the body. They can be either benign (noncancerous) or malignant (cancerous). Benign tumors are not cancerous and generally do not spread to other parts of the body, while malignant tumors are cancerous and can invade nearby tissue and spread to other parts of the body. Treatment options vary depending on the type and size of the tumor. Tumors can have a significant impact on a person's long-term health and they are a major cause of illness and death worldwide. Early diagnosis and prompt treatment are essential in order to ensure the best prognosis.
