Leukemia

Leukemia is a type of cancer commonly affecting the blood and bone marrow, causing too many white blood cells to be produced. It is a serious, life-threatening illness that can affect both adults and children. Treatment for leukemia may include chemotherapy, radiation, and bone marrow transplantation. Early diagnosis, prompt treatment, and supportive care can improve quality of life and life expectancy for those living with leukemia.
