Tractability
Tractability is a key concept in the study of complex systems. It describes the degree to which the behavior of a system can be predicted, or the degree to which the behavior of a system can be effectively controlled. It is important for understanding both the behavior of natural systems, such as the atmosphere, and the behavior of engineered systems, such as financial markets. In particular, tractability can be used to understand how various parameters and conditions affect the behavior of the system, and how to design systems to achieve optimal results. The importance of tractability has become increasingly evident with the development of sophisticated computer models, which rely on tractability to develop effective and efficient simulations.
