Symmetry

Symmetry is an important concept in mathematics and science that describes the property of an object that remains unchanged when it is rotated, flipped, or otherwise moved. Symmetry can be observed in nature, such as the rings of a tree, or in artistic works, such as the designs of a vase. Symmetry is used in a variety of applications in science, mathematics, and engineering, ranging from basic geometry to quantum mechanics. It is also frequently used in architecture and design, as it can create more aesthetically pleasing forms than asymmetry.
