Sine Waves
A sine wave is a sinusoidal waveform which is defined by a repetitive oscillating pattern that can be seen in many natural phenomena, from ocean waves to electrical signals. Sine waves are the foundation of all forms of oscillation and are an important tool in numerous scientific, engineering, and mathematical applications. They provide a basis for understanding AC electrical circuits, sound and vibration, optics, and more. The amplitude, frequency, and phase of a sine wave all play an important role in its uses, allowing us to detect, measure, and analyze different signals and process them for various purposes such as transmitting information and modulating power.
