Reliability Engineering

Reliability Engineering is an engineering discipline that assesses, designs, verifies, maintains and improves products and services to ensure they perform without fail over an expected period of time. It uses analytical and probabilistic methods to model, develop and evaluate systems, subsystems and components. Reliability Engineering is important in industries such as automotive, aerospace, defence, power, oil & gas and telecommunications, where products and services must be continuously available and safe to operate. By using Reliability Engineering, businesses can improve product quality, reduce downtime and increase customer satisfaction.
