Densitometers
Densitometers are scientific instruments used to measure the optical density of a substance or thin film. They are used in a wide range of industries, such as printing, biology, and pharmaceuticals, where precise measurement of surface properties is essential. Densitometers can measure differences in density that are as small as 0.001 (one thousandth of a unit). They are also used to monitor the consistency of thin film thickness in the production of semiconductor chips and other applications. By using densitometers, it is possible to quantify the product quality, ensure process consistency, and create more efficient production lines.
