Migraine Research
Migraine is a severe, recurrent headache that is often accompanied by symptoms such as nausea and sensitivity to light and sound. Research into migraine has improved our understanding of how the disorder is caused and how it can be treated. For example, research has shown that dehydration, stress, and certain medications can trigger a migraine headache. Additionally, migraine research has led to the development of new treatments and medications that can help to alleviate the pain and other symptoms of migraines. This research has been significant for reducing the impacts of a migraine on people’s daily lives, as well as helping to reduce the associated costs of health care.
