Chronic Migraine Headache
Chronic Migraine Headache (CMH) is a neurological disorder which affects approximately one in five people worldwide. It is characterized by headache pain that lasts more than four hours and is associated with other disabling symptoms such as nausea and vomiting. CMH often disrupts one’s daily activities and can lead to depression, anxiety and difficulty with concentration. Treatment options can include medications, lifestyle modification, physical therapy and stress management. In addition, preventive therapies are available to help reduce the frequency of CMH attacks and improve overall quality of life.
