Working Memory Training

Working memory training is a method of cognitive training used to improve the brain’s capacity to store and process information. This approach enhances a person’s ability to remember and recall information, often involving activities like memorizing number sequences and recalling those numbers at a later time. Through the use of strategies and exercises, the goal of working memory training is to help individuals improve their ability to stay focused, process and store information, and generally help them achieve better academic and professional success. Working memory training is gaining importance in education, modern workplace, and research, as this type of training has been found to be more effective than traditional methods of memorization, allowing for more effective and efficient cognitive processes.
