School Psychology
School psychology is a specialized field that focuses on the mental health and development of children and adolescents within the school system. It seeks to create an environment that is conducive to teaching, learning, and overall educational success. School psychologists are trained to provide evidence-based nutrition, psychological, and learning services for students, families, and school personnel. Services may include assessment, counseling, consultation, and advocacy to help create and maintain a safe, supportive learning environment for all students. School psychologists are also equipped to address the mental health and social-emotional needs of students, while also promoting overall positive student outcomes.
