Remembering
Remembering is an essential cognitive process in which information that has been previously acquired and encoded is retrieved from memory storage. It is a fundamental element to learning and contributing to knowledge and understanding. It enables us to recall memories of experiences, understand information and problem solve. Remembering is an important skill for successful functioning in everyday life. It helps us to recall names, recognize faces and words, and recall instructions as well as facts and figures. Remembering also helps us emotionally in terms of consolidating life events, enriching our experiences and providing healthy self-reflection.
