Cognitive Science
Cognitive science is a field of study that focuses on how people acquire, process and use knowledge. It bridges the gap between psychology, neuroscience and other related disciplines to explore how the mind works. It covers a wide range of topics, including memory, decision making and learning abilities, language, perception and intelligence. Cognitive science is important because it allows us to understand how human brains work and how to best support people with learning disabilities. It helps us design better teaching techniques and technology, such as artificial intelligence. It is also used to create ways to detect and treat mental health disorders, as well as develop game-based therapies for various behavioral problems.
