Sarcoidosis
Sarcoidosis is a rare and complex inflammatory disease, which is characterized by the presence of tiny lumps called granulomas in various organs of the body, such as the lungs, skin, eyes, and lymph nodes. Sarcoidosis may cause a wide range of symptoms including shortness of breath, fever, fatigue, night sweats, weight loss, and skin rashes. Its exact cause is unknown, but it is believed to be caused by environmental factors, such as exposure to certain substances. Treatment for sarcoidosis typically involves medications to reduce inflammation and the use of steroids to reduce the size of the granulomas. Sarcoidosis is a serious condition, but with proper diagnosis and treatment, it can be managed effectively.
