oscopy Ureteroscopy is a diagnostic and therapeutic procedure in which a thin, telescope-like instrument is used to view the inside of the urinary tract. It allows doctors to diagnose and treat a variety of urological conditions, including kidney stones, narrowing of the ureter (ureteral stricture), and tumors in the urinary tract. Ureteroscopy can also help to diagnose and treat other types of urinary tract disorders, such as urinary tract infections and urinary incontinence. This procedure is an important tool for diagnosing and treating a variety of urological conditions and is minimally invasive and often done as an outpatient procedure.
