Polyuria
Polyuria is a medical condition in which an excessive amount of urine (more than 3 liters per day) is produced. It can be caused by a wide range of underlying medical conditions, including diabetes, dehydration, kidney disorders, and certain types of drugs or medications. Polyuria can cause dehydration and electrolyte imbalances and can lead to other serious health issues, such as heart and kidney failure. Treatment of polyuria depends on the cause, but can include dietary and lifestyle changes, medications, and supplemental fluids. Accurate diagnosis is essential in order to properly treat this condition and prevent potential long-term health complications.
