Hydrocele

A hydrocele is a fluid-filled swelling that forms around a testicle. It is usually painless and typically does not cause any harm. However, in some cases, it can be a sign of an underlying medical condition. Treatment typically involves draining the fluid from the affected area with a needle, although surgery may be required if the condition is more severe. Hydroceles are common in newborn boys, but can occur in any man at any age. Early diagnosis and treatment is important to prevent complications and to ensure a healthy quality of life.
