Gynecological Tumors

Gynecological tumors are abnormal growths of cells that occur in the female reproductive system, including the uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, cervix, and vagina. These tumors can range from benign (non-cancerous) to malignant (cancerous). The most common types of gynecological tumors are ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, and endometrial cancer. Treatment for these tumors depends upon the type and stage of the tumor, and may include surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. Early detection of gynecological tumors is the key to successful treatment and improved quality of life. Regular gynecological exams and screenings are recommended for all women in order to detect any changes in the reproductive system, which may be signs of gynecological tumors.
