Cystoscopy

Cystoscopy is a medical procedure used to visualize and examine the inside of the bladder and urethra. It involves inserting a small camera into the bladder via a thin tube which passes through the urethra. This technique allows doctors to assess the health of the bladder and detect any signs of infection or other abnormalities. Cystoscopy is used to diagnose, treat and monitor a range of issues related to the bladder or urethra, such as bladder cancer, urinary tract infections, and bladder stones. It also may be used to locate the source of bleeding in the urinary tract. Cystoscopy is an important procedure for diagnosing, preventing, and treating bladder and urethral issues and is used widely in the medical field.
