Traumatic Bereavement

Traumatic Bereavement is a type of mental and emotional distress that can occur after a traumatic event resulting in the death of a loved one. It involves intense feelings of sadness, anger, guilt, and confusion as well as various physical symptoms and changes in behavior. It typically lasts longer than a more typical grief response, and is often accompanied by increased risk of severe depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and other mental health issues. Traumatic Bereavement can have significant impact on one's life, especially if left untreated. With proper psychological support and treatment, individuals experiencing this type of bereavement can experience improved quality of life and emotional resilience.
