Renal Failure

Renal failure is a medical condition in which the kidneys are no longer able to properly filter toxins and waste from the blood, resulting in their accumulation in the body. It can be acute or chronic and have a wide range of symptoms and causes. Treatment usually requires dialysis or a kidney transplant, and in some cases lifestyle changes or medications. In order to prevent renal failure, it is important to monitor blood pressure and any pre-existing medical conditions, maintain healthy lifestyle habits and regularly get blood tests and urine tests to check for kidney function. Renal failure can be life-threatening if left untreated, so early diagnosis and prompt medical care is essential.
