Clubfoot
Clubfoot is a congenital deformity of the foot and ankle that causes the foot to be bent downwards and inwards. It is attributed to a lack of development in certain muscles, tendons, and ligaments around the foot and ankle. Clubfoot can lead to difficulty with walking, walking on the toes, and in severe cases, disability. Clubfoot can be treated with various treatments such as stretching exercises and casts, as well as surgery. Proper early treatment is key for successful outcomes for those with Clubfoot. Additionally, the treatment of Clubfoot can help to improve the quality of life for affected individuals, increase the likelihood of successful walking and mobility, and help to prevent disability in later life.
