Chronic Stress
Chronic stress is a state of prolonged and persistent physical or psychological tension caused by various external or internal factors. It can have a negative impact on physical and mental health and wellbeing, leading to depression, anxiety, and other psychological and physiological disorders. Chronic stress can also increase the risk of developing chronic health conditions, including heart disease, diabetes, and obesity. However, there are several strategies to help manage chronic stress, such as relaxation techniques, mindfulness, physical activity, and stress management therapy. By managing chronic stress, individuals can achieve improved physical and mental health, which can lead to a better quality of life.
