Weasels

Weasels are small carnivorous mammals belonging to the Mustelidae family (e.g. ferrets, otters, badgers and wolverines). They are known as top predators, as they mainly feed on small animals and birds. Weasels have long, slender bodies with short legs and small heads. They have sharp teeth and claws, which they use to hunt and defend themselves against prey. They are also excellent climbers, swimmers and diggers. Weasels play an important role in the environment by controlling the population of rodents and other small animals, helping to preserve biodiversity. They are also kept as pets in some areas and are prized for their intelligence and playful behavior.
