Voles

Voles, also known as meadow mice, are small mammals in the rodent family. They are similar in size and shape to mice but have more fur and rounded ears. Voles are found in most parts of the world, including North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. They are incredibly important for their role in the natural environment, providing food for birds of prey and other predators, aerating soil with their tunnels, and helping to disperse seeds from the plants they eat. Voles also provide a valuable food source for humans in some areas, and can be hunted or trapped for their meat.
