Transient Transfection
Transient Transfection is a laboratory technique which is used to introduce DNA and proteins into eukaryotic cells, such as mammalian cell lines for efficient expression of genes for research and therapeutic purposes. This method involves the use of an expression vector, typically a plasmid, which when taken up by the cell, directs the production of a protein of interest. Transient Transfection provides a fast and cost-effective route to evaluate and optimize gene expression, making it an important tool in biomedical research and gene therapy.
