Terrestrial Mammals

Terrestrial mammals are mammals that live on land, as opposed to aquatic mammals that live in the water and arboreal mammals which live in trees. They include animals such as cats, dogs, horses, and many others. Terrestrial mammals play an important role in the environment, acting as predators that help maintain the balance of their ecosystems. They also offer many economic and cultural benefits to humans, such as providing food, clothing, and pets, as well as aiding in research and conservation. Terrestrial mammals are an important part of the diversity of life on Earth, providing an invaluable ecosystem service.
