Ferrets
Ferrets are small carnivorous mammals belonging to the Mustelidae family, which includes weasels, mink and otters. They are popularly kept as pets and are also widely used in pest control, laboratory research, and as working animals. Ferrets have a slender body, elongated muzzle and a tail that is shorter than their body. They have short, furry, and highly adaptable coats, with many color variations. Ferrets have high metabolisms, which means they have a high energy requirement, and they must be fed twice a day. They are highly intelligent, and can be trained to respond to commands. They are also known for their playful and mischievous nature. Ferrets are social animals, and need consistent companionship, either from humans or other ferrets.
