Camels
Camels are an even-toed ungulate mammal which are most prominently known for their capability to travel long distances in hot, dry desert conditions. Camels possess various features which help them to survive in desert climates, such as double rows of eyelashes, wide feet adapted for sand, and the ability to go long periods without water. Camels are important sources of milk, transportation, and meat in many desert regions of the world, with their value to society making them a symbol of wealth and status.
