Armadillos

Armadillos are small terrestrial mammals with a protective armor-like shell. They are native to South and Central America and parts of the southern United States. Armadillos have adapted to survive in a wide variety of climates and habitats and can be a beneficial part of an ecosystem. They are an important food source for larger predators and they also help to keep insect populations at bay. Additionally, they can be used in studies to better understand the spread of diseases such as leprosy and tuberculosis. Armadillos are also a source of fascination for many people and can provide a unique and interesting educational experience.
