Oncology Lung Cancer
Lung cancer, the leading cause of cancer-related mortality, is a disease of the lungs where cancer cells divide and grow uncontrollably in the tissues of one or both lungs. Oncology is a specialized branch of medicine focused on the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Oncology lung cancer is the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer with the use of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. This treatment can significantly reduce the risk of death from lung cancer if it is diagnosed early and treated properly. Oncology lung cancer treatment can provide relief from the symptoms, improve quality of life for patients, and improve their chances of survival.
