Lung Cancer Risk Reduction
Lung cancer is one of the most common and lethal forms of cancer worldwide. It is estimated to be responsible for over one million deaths per year. Fortunately, for those at risk, there are steps that can be taken to reduce the chance of developing the disease. These include avoiding smoking, avoiding exposure to second-hand smoke, limiting exposure to air pollution, eating a healthy diet, getting regular exercise, and avoiding exposure to certain chemicals. Making these lifestyle changes can significantly reduce the risk of developing lung cancer and help improve overall health and wellbeing.
