Lung Cancer Mortality
Lung cancer mortality is an important indicator of the health of a population. It measures the number of deaths from lung cancer in a given population over a particular period of time. This information helps to identify patterns of lung cancer mortality over time, assess the effectiveness of cancer control strategies, and inform public health strategies to reduce lung cancer deaths. Lung cancer mortality is used to measure the impact of intervention measures such as screening programs, education campaigns, and smoking cessation programs, and to measure the effectiveness of public health policies to reduce the burden of lung cancer.
