Adenocarcinoma

Adenocarcinoma is a type of cancer that begins in the cells lining organs, such as the liver, lungs, stomach, colon, and pancreas. It is the most common type of cancer in the developed world and can be serious if not detected and treated early. Treatment options may include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery. Adenocarcinoma can lead to complications, including metastasis (spread of cancer to other parts of the body). Awareness and early diagnosis are key to reducing the mortality associated with this type of cancer.
