Stuttering
Stuttering is a speech disorder in which the flow of speech is disrupted by involuntary repetitions, prolonged sounds, and word or phrase repetitions. It has various causes and affects people of all ages and backgrounds. There are various treatments available to help people who stutter, including speech and language therapy, fluency-shaping therapy, and medications. Having a better understanding of stuttering and its treatments is important to help people find the right approach to alleviate their stuttering and lead a better quality of life.
