Lexicons
A lexicon is a collection of words and phrases, typically associated with a specific language or field of study. Lexicons are used in many areas of linguistics, including lexicography (dictionary making), lexical semantics, syntax, and lexicology. They are also used in text analysis and machine learning. Lexicons are important for understanding the meanings of words and phrases in a language, and the relationships between them. They are used to build dictionaries and other language resources, analyze the structure of language, and help build natural language processing applications.
