Language Planning

Language planning is the process of developing strategies and policies to regulate the use of language within a particular region or country. It is conducted for various purposes such as standardization, modernization, unification, and accessibility. The goal of language planning is to create an equitable language environment that enables members of all linguistic groups to fully participate in their respective societies. It is an important tool to promote the rights of individuals and to maintain minority language rights. It can also help to promote economic development, improve communication between different language groups, and strengthen national unity. As such, language planning has a significant role in enhancing the quality of life as it contributes to social and cultural growth.
