Computational Linguistics

Computational Linguistics is an interdisciplinary field of study which combines the power of computer science and information technology with linguistics to enable machines to process, analyze and generate language. This technology has many practical applications including natural language processing, machine translation, text summarization, automated dialogue systems, and speech recognition. Computational Linguistics improves the way machines interact with human language, allowing computers to understand and respond to natural language with more accuracy and speed than ever before.
