Aims and Scope

International Journal of Antibiotic Research is an open-access, peer-review journal for original analysis on Antibiotics in different disease conditions. IJANR is a multi-disciplinary journal covering the general fields of pharmacology, biochemistry, genetics, and microbiology. Our objective is to strengthen research investigators, scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible.

IJANR provides an effective platform for disseminating research on microbial products and antimicrobial approaches through also including insightful and up-to-date reviews, Original Research, Literature review, Conference proceedings, Case reports, Short communication, Thesis, Letter to the editor, and Editorials.

It is the premier journal for publishing original high-quality research in the fields of molecular and evolutionary biology, clinical trials and pharmacology. IJANR accepts manuscripts on topics such as clinical practice, drug design, molecular biology, resistance mechanisms, and therapeutic efficacy. IJANR encourages submission of manuscripts that explore the relationship between antibiotics and their mode of action, metabolism, and syntheses. Manuscripts that have a clear relevance to clinical practice, novel molecules, or novel host-pathogen interactions are especially welcome.

IJANR welcomes manuscripts that provide innovative insights into the understanding of the molecular basis of antibiotic action, drug structure and properties, as well as their clinical applications. Furthermore, the journal encourages submissions on topics such as antimicrobial resistance gene transfer and the application of molecular techniques such as genomics and proteomics to clinical practice. Special issues may be published on topics such as antibiotics and cancer, and antibiotic stewardship.
