Bird Calls

Bird calls are the vocalizations produced by birds to communicate with one another. Different species of birds have distinct calls which are used for a variety of purposes such as courtship, territorial defence, alarm, and finding mates. By understanding bird calls, birdwatchers and researchers can identify species, gain insight into their behavior and ecology, and monitor changes in bird populations. Listening to bird calls is also a popular recreational activity, allowing birders to identify and observe birds in their natural habitats.
