Bird Biogeography
Bird biogeography is the study of the geographic distribution of birds. It is a field of research in ecology, focusing on the relationship between birds, their environment and the distribution of species. It is used to understand how birds interact with their environment, how human activities affect bird distributions and how birds migrate, disperse and forage. The results of bird biogeography research can inform conservation and management efforts, enabling more effective conservation of important bird habitats and more sustainable management of bird species.
