Trout

Trout are a group of species of fish belonging to the Salmonidae family. They are primarily freshwater fish, although some sea-dwelling species exist. Trout are found in freshwater streams and rivers in many parts of the world. They have an important role in the aquatic food web, as they are both predators of smaller fish and preyed upon by larger, predatory fish. Trout are also significant to anglers, as they provide recreational fishing opportunities and are prized for their delicious flavor when properly prepared.
