Sea Lions
Sea lions are large aquatic mammals of the Otariidae family. They inhabit coastal oceans and range from temperate to polar regions. Sea lions are distinguishable from other marine mammals by their four flippers, external ear flaps, and long fur coats. They are also known for their intelligence and ability to be trained. Sea lions can be used for assistance in military operations, aquatic performances, and research. They are an important source of food for some indigenous peoples, as well as a source of entertainment for the general public. Sea lions provide a valuable service in the study of ocean health, marine mammal ecology, and animal behavior.
