Oceanology

Oceanology is the scientific study of oceans and the creatures and processes that take place within them. This can include the physical, chemical, biological, and geological features of the ocean. Oceanology is a multidisciplinary field, which has applications in exploration, conservation, and security. Oceanology helps us understand our planet and the processes occurring in the ocean, as well as its impact on our lives from a global perspective. For example, oceanology is crucial for tracking changes in global climate, understanding coastal ecosystems, and predicting storms. Oceanology has many uses such as aiding in the development of new technologies and products involving the ocean, assessing the effects of human activities on the ocean, and helping us better understand and protect ocean resources.
