Marine Science

Marine Science is the study of the planet's oceans. It examines the biology, chemistry, and physics of saltwater environments and their features and inhabitants, such as ocean plants, animals, and other organisms. Marine Science enables us to understand and sustain our delicate ocean ecosystems, providing resources for human use and protection of fragile marine habitats. It provides insight into the impact of climate change, pollution, and other human activities, allowing us to take necessary steps to protect the planet's oceans. Marine Science also has many practical applications, such as forecasting and tracking weather and climate, ensuring safer navigation for ships, and exploring resources for energy and food. By understanding our oceans, Marine Science can help ensure their health into the future.
